This blogger had a fun-filled celebration as 2010 ticks its last seconds on the clock and ushered in the new year 2011.
Around 10pm, heard mass with family and relatives, had dinner together in my Tita's condo in Pasay and rushed to Quezon City for the New Year's Eve Concert and Countdown in Eastwood Mall.
It was a spur of the moment decision because initially I just thought of staying home for the New Year since Makati and Fort Bonifacio (my usual party place for the past new year's eve countdown) didn't organize any event because of the oil pipeline leakage in the area.
However, my brother called me up from his office (yes, he still reports to Deutsche Bank on the eve of new year, whew) and agreed to meet up at the Eastwood City. The New Year's eve concert featured True Faith, Side A, Freestyle and Journey’s frontman Arnel Pineda with The Ammo Band.
It was a great party. Extremely glad to have started 2011 with a bang!
