Cluster 2, Level 4 student nurses willl have their chance to plant malunggay in Barangay Kalunasan tomorrow, June 27, 2009. UC Nursing CESDEV has already made a request duly approved by the Officer in Charge of Kalunasan Elementary School allowing the student nurses to put up a Malunggay Nursery inside the premises of the school. These seedlings will be strategically planted in areas within the school once these are ready for transplantation. The remaining malunggay seedlings will be distributed to the elementary school students who will be bringing at least one seedling a day after dismissal of classes so they could plant malunggay in their own backyard. It is hoped that this mechanism of implementation will further realize the objective of UC Nursing CESDEV to have a "Kamunggayan sa Kalunasan" to combat malnutrition in the baranggay.
