ALL UC Nursing CESDEV Volunteers will have an activity this coming Saturday, June 6, 2009. We will be going to Lilo-an, Cebu for a Tree Planting activity. This will be especially meaningful for our newly-capped and badged student nurse volunteers. As they plant a tree, they also re-affirm their convictions as student nurses and CESDEV volunteers with the hope that as the tree grows taller, its roots dig deeper, and its branches spread wider ... along comes a deeper understanding of what nursing and volunteering is all about.
