University of Cebu - Banilad College of Nursing also peformed well in the just released Philippine Nursing Licensure Examination given last June 2007. Out of 310 First-Time board exam takers, 286 passed the exam giving UC-CN (Banilad) a passing percentage of 92 %. However, there were also 104 Repeaters of the board exam and of this, only 48 passed giving UC-CN (Banilad) a 46% passing rate for this cluster. Overall, University of Cebu (Banilad) College of Nursing had 334 board exam passers out of 414 board exam takers commanding an 81% pasing percentage.
Of these passers, UC Banilad College of Nursing proudly claims two(2) board topnochers. They are Mr. Jundell Castardo, 5th Place (UC Banilad Batch 2006) and Mr. Santonin Yu, 8th Place (UC Banilad Batch 2006).
