The graduate nurses of University of Cebu who are currently staying in Seminario Mayor de San Carlos for their Intensive In-House review for the Philippine Nurses Licensure Examination this coming June 6 and 7, 2009 were delighted and touched with the show of support from CESDEV-Nursing.

The streamers and the accompanying messages are UC Nursing CESDEV's simplest ways of acknowledging the contributions of these graduate nurses - greatly helping CESDEV-Nursing achieve its goals and purposes. As they embark on the PNLE, we are assured that they will be truly guided by the Holy Spirit and will be abundantly blessed for they have served the community and their fellowmen through their numerous outreach activities - they will surely receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward.

"Kaya Natin Ito!" is a charity single written by Ogie Alcasid, a famous singer/composer in the Philippines.

This song served as an inspiration to all victims to stand up and continue the journey. From the overflowing rivers to raging flashfloods in the Metro Manila area, plus the non-stop rains in the Northern Luzon that resulted to thousands of death, loss of belongings and other properties putting most of the people in what seemingly was insurmountable crisis.

The song was sung by more than 50 Filipino artists, including Lea Salonga, Gary Valenciano, Martin Nievera, Regine Velasquez, Sharon Cuneta, Jaya and many more. Ogie Alcasid also sang a part of the song.
