The volunteers of the Community Extension Services and Development (CESDEV) of the College of Nursing of UC Banilad had their training last September 6 and 7, 2007 at the Order of Saint Augustine Formation Center in Tabor Hills. This training is geared towards firming up the capabilities of the new volunteers.
Mrs. Jocelyn Antiporta-Lim, the Overall CESDEV Coordinator, facilitated the "getting-to-know-you" activity of the volunteers.
Getting acquainted with each other was easily achieved showing the cohesive nature and personalities of the new volunteers.
They posted these expectations creatively on the wall.
The vibrant colors of the flowers and the leaves of this "wall of expectations" kept the training surging forward. The participants also checked their "moods" for the day and posted them likewise on the wall. Obviously, there were more reasons to smile about with the smiling faces.
UC Nursing CESDEV President Hazel Bondaco presented the general and specific objectives for the training as well as some house rules to keep the training in order.
