SWIM 1.5Km (two-loops)
The swim is a water-start off the Amara (north phase) pier. It is clockwise and is two-loops.
BIKE 32Km (two-loops)
From T1 in Amara, the bike route exits Amara and heads downhill towards the flat, narrow, unpaved roads of Barangay Catarman. Then a short paved uphill section leads to the single track and hilly portion called Apollo, from where the route heads downhill through Calero Cemetery, and then up and down again through a mix of unpaved, paved, and single track roads leading to Porter Marina, the bike turnaround. From Porter Marina, the route returns through another mix of hilly unpaved, paved, and single track sections leading back up to Apollo. After Apollo, there is a downhill towards a single track trail in Barangay Catarman, that leads back towards Amara. Bikers climb a steady hill leading towards the Liloan Lighthouse where bikers must do a turnaround to start the second loop. Repeat all of the above (except the swim) and upon finishing the turnaround behind Liloan Lighthouse again, bikers can enter Amara to head to T2.
RUN 10Km
From T2 in Amara, the run route exits Amara via a dirt road, and veers towards the Liloan shoreline. There will be a brief “water” run in low tide and some running on the beach. A mix of paved and unpaved sections follow which then leads towards Papa Kit’s, a fishing lagoon where runners will spend approximately 2.5Km running through different spots and terrain, including running across a bamboo bridge. After Papa Kit’s, the run returns towards Amara where the finish line awaits.
