UC Nursing CESDEV congratulates Salamat Dok of ABS-CBN as it celebrates its 6th Anniversary. Salamat Dok is the first medical show on Philippine television that aims overcome Filipinos' aversion for doctors through a more personal approach. The show addresses the medical needs of the viewers by providing up-to-date and relevant information on health, free consultation on air, medical missions in the Philippines, scientific breakthroughs and even medical issues.
On a personal note, this blogger also wishes more power to cousin Pier Benedict Ocubillo Pastor, a segment host, researcher, and segment producer of the program. Her involvement in the Medical Missions and health information campaign puts some semblance to what this blogger does for CESDEV-Nursing. This kind of endeavor must be inherent in our blood. Hehehe. :)
