The Community Extension Services and Development (CESDEV) of the College of Nursing of UC Banilad joined the medical mission to the far island of Camotes, specifically in the towns of Poro and San Francisco last May 31, 2008 . A total of 201 circumcision, 200 dental extractions, 42 excision of masses, and 7 thyroidectomies were performed. On top of this, several medical consultations were also provided by a team of medical consultants led by Dr. Wyben Briones. Moreover, other services such as free ECG tracing was extended. Also provided for free were medicines for various health conditions. ( see the slideshow on the activity )
