Cell division (mitosis) of many breast cancer cells over 3 days. These cells are in culture and placed under a confocal microscope to visualize the microtubules. This movie taken by the Marcus Laboratory at the Emory Winship Cancer Institute shows how cancer cells multiply very rapidly. It is therefore very important not to delay initiatives to visit the doctor and sek medical advice if you suspect you have breast cancer.
