UC Nursing CESDEV sincerely expresses its gratefulness to Mr. Carlos Apuhin, President of Rotary Club of Cebu South, and Mrs. Mercy Milagros B. Apuhin, Level 3 Chairperson of the College of Nursing of UC Banilad, for accomodating the student nurse volunteers in the Medical-Surgical-Dental Mission to Barangay Libjo, Tabogon, Cebu. For two years now, they have invited student nurse volunteers to join them as they conduct worthwhile activities (click this link for the same activity conducted last year http://picasaweb.google.com/ucnursingcesdev2008/TabogonMedicalMission#). This also gave these volunteers the opportunity to handle minor surgery cases to complete their PRC requirements. During this particular mission, the student nurse volunteers were able to assist 33 circumcision and 4 excision of cebaceous cysts.
