The main purpose of "immersion" is to provide the student nurses an actual, first-hand experience of community life so that they can better understand the lives that community people are having. This also provides an oportunity for the student nurses to venture beyond the campus and extend to the community the very much needed medical attention and nursing care.
To all CESDEV Nursing volunteers who will have their Immersion activities, take it as a meaningful way of enjoying Summer 2009. God bless you!
